The following was presented at our 2012 GoodHearts Foundation Dinner:
I received a double lung transplant on Feb. 17, and am doing very well.
We had the privilege of staying at Kaelyn’s Place on Sasktachewan Drive. We really enjoyed the lovely apartment and a most gorgeous and peaceful view from the large window in the living room.
I spent many hours lying and resting on the couch and enjoying the view. We were very happy to have a nice place to stay while so far from home.
We appreciated, and still do, the GoodHearts Foundation’s generosity in allowing us to live in Kaelyn’s Place for almost three months.
